Today we were in a hot and sticky Worcestershire deep in the heart of the Midlands.
Temperatures of 25 degrees saw most of the anglers 'cook' in the sun.
Everyone caught, particularly sun tans.
Strangely some were catching fish up in the water and some at the bottom, so it seems like the unusual sunny conditions were also confusing the fish!
No massive weights were caught today but everyone caught.
Congratulations to everyone who fished the match and well done to the top three, John Bryan, Neil Turner and Alan Lamb.
Golden Peg was again evaded, this time by Ian Armstrong, hard luck Ian.
As this was a coach trip everyone retired to the pub which was the Star Pub in Stourport for liquid refreshment and something to eat.
Our next senior match is on Saturday 9th August and it will be our third coach trip of the year, this time to BW Makins, hope to see you there... |
